“I finally got out of my head, put plans onto paper and into action. I also benefitted from the supportive network created by the program. Who better than my cohorts to test my ideas and provide feedback?”Christine Harris
“I really loved learning about issues like taxes and financial planning. Those were the parts of running a business that I had the least amount of knowledge about. The program has definitely helped me develop a clearer vision of where I would like go with my business.”Britt Saunders
“The program was rich, with lots to dive into … I built a great network of other enterpreneurs—I think we’ll all be working together in the future.”Joe Calleja
“In the program I learned how to build the resources for my creative enterprise. The biggest gain for me is that I’ve developed the confidence to pitch my vision and invite people with resources to give.”Paola Gomez
“[The Creative Entrepreneurship Program] forced me to get back to basics: taking care of the books, paying the bills, looking after my profits, things like that.”Trevor Godinho
Our programming is supported by FedDev Ontario, the Ontario Trillium Foundation, Ontario Media Development Corporation, the City of Toronto through Start Up Here Toronto, the Metcalf Foundation and the J.W. McConnell Family Foundation.
